COMMUNITY MEETING

September 19, 2019 - 7PM

Kidron Community Park, Community Building

The Kidron Volunteer Fire Department invites you to a community meeting to learn about the ongoing planning for a new fire station.

We plan to discuss four main topics, including the building and why it's needed, costs and funding as well as other considerations.

Please mark your calendar and plan to attend. As this is a community project, your attendance is very important!

More specifically, our agenda includes:

  1. WHY WE NEED A NEW FACILITY Hint: Our next truck will not fit into the current building. And among many other reasons, we nave no decontamination space!
  2. THE BUILDING AND WHAT IT COSTS Hint: This is a big project... it's not just a fire department project but a community project. Everyone is involved!
  3. HOW WE WILL PAY FOR IT Hint: Your donations, financial pledges and/or contributions of your tradesman skills are needed!
  4. WHEN WE WILL START Hint: That depends upon the generosity of our community!
